	Statewide Survey The national research firm Schulman, Ronca, & Bucuvalas, Inc., Silver Spring, MD 20910 is conducting a statewide survey of victims of crime on behalf of COPCVO. The purposes of the survey are to determine the level of services that victims of crime are receiving and whether victim service providers are providing for the right and services to which they are entitled under the state's Crime Victims Act. To advance legislative and policy initiatives in support of the rights and needs of victims and witnesses and the field of victim services. Finance/Financial Resources Committee Jennifer Storm, Chair Considers matters pertaining to the finances of the organization including acquiring funds for the support of organization activities.	Membership/Nominating Committee Leslie Slingsby, Chair Develops and implements the membership selection process. This committee also nominates candidates for officers and board positions .	Legislation/Education Committee Deborah Donahue, Chair Provides for favorable publicity for the activities of the organization. Plans, organizes and prepares literature, program s and activities that educate its members and the general public. Also promotes and encourages laws in connection with the purpose of the organization and provides information on the initiation and status of laws and regulations. The Rally Committee is a sub-committee of education.
